Hes leaving, should I tell him how I feel?

I want to tell my coworker I like him since now hes leaving and it wont be awkward if he doesnt like me because he wont work there anymore. I think my chances are good. Hes shy, but we have great conversations. I catch him staring at me a lot and he remember little things I say. I think I'm going to have to make the first move because he is shy and I am 20 and he is 18..Should I tell him how I feel?

If you have been feeling like this for a while chances are your feelings for him have already "leaked out". So he knows, but you could go up to him and give him that doggy eyed look because I think you have to let him know. Chances are he is feeling it too!! More than a little! Have a little piece of paper to get his new email address and at least find out where he is going...that works too! He will contact you after he gets settled. Let me know how that works so I can try that too! (already did)

The worst that would happen is that he wouldn't return your feelings, and that would be awkward for the last week he works there. The best is that he does, and that he is too shy to say something. At the same time, any guy can overcome shyness if he likes the girl enough.

I'm sure you have seen movies where one of them likes each other but he or she doesn't say anything Right?? and then you think what a dummy say something. Well I think personally you should say something if hes not interested at least you will know and you can move on. Dont you think you would rather regret telling him than NOT ever knowing.

Like others have said - Sure! From what you have told us, there might be something there! Find out for sure. Let him know how much you enjoy his conversations and company. Try asking him out for something casual. If anything, if things don't quite work out the way you have planned, you don't have to feel awkward by working with him.

Why don't you just ask him if he would like to exchange telephone numbers with you so that you two can keep in touch? For now,avoid telling him your feelings. Just keep it friendly and let him know it would be nice to keep in touch every once in awhile to say hello. Then you at least have a chance of better things to develop later. Good luck to you!

Yes otherwise if you don't you will spend the rest of your life saying "what if". What if I had asked him out? What if he had said yes? What if he felt the same way for me that I felt for him? If you don't take the chance you will never know what would have become of the two of you. You only live once so don't hold back and have no regrets.

You dont have a thing to lose hun, and you will regret it if you dont try.
Give him your phone number and tell him to keep in touch. That you are really gonna miss him and maybe the two of you can hang out sometime.

100 percent..you never know what that can grow into! this could be so good for you, if he obviously looks at you you're in the clear, and he's younger so probeably doesnt think ud be interested, go for it...show that rookie how to treat a girl

Of course you should tell him!

Obviously it can be embarrassing, so wait until his last day to tell him. that way you minimize uncomfortable situations if he doesn't feel the same way.

or even better, if he has a leaving do, tell him then - even less chance it can backfire, so you're protecting yourself quite well that way, but you would be constantly wondering if you should've said something....
