They are mainly thrushes and I have never seen anything like it. Since November they keep entering my house by windows or open doors. I have counted something like a dozen birds finding (or losing) their way in this manner. A friend of mine who lives some 20 miles from home says it has recently happened to him also a couple ot times. Would cell phones have anything to do with it?

you don't have screens on your windows? birds will nest in your house if they can get in. shut your doors and windows- the birds are seeking shelter

Cell phones? Really? No.

More likely you have a nest nearby and the thrushes are simply attracted to something about the house.

If cell phones attracted birds we would all be dive bombed continually while walking and talking on the cell while we are outside.

if only you could get a tape of an eagle's screach or some large predatory bird, and play it loud enough for them to recognise, it would most likely scare them away
