should i wait?
here it is, i met my berstfriend's childhood friend back then and we've been friends for quite some time, he told me everything about his pass, it was really tragic and depressing and now that we're friends he's flirting and told me that he hopes I'll stay single, we'll wait for each other, he was falling slowly for me but he can't have a relationship at the moment because he's afraid to get hurt again. Should I listen to him? i also like him but i'm afraid that we might lose our friendship if I engage on having a relationship with him..What should I do?

Well, if you like each other, then you should go out. Good friends are not that easy to loose. I think you should wait for each other to be ready and start dating. If the relationship doesn't work out, you will still be together as friends. If he is a true friend, he will stick with you no matter what.

Follow you instincts. If something is holding you back follow it through, listen to yourself. You know this guy more than we do. I'n my opinion, it sounds like a cop-out, and I get the feeling that he is not good for you. A guy should never tell a girl to stay single and wait for him. Those are "red flags" warning signs that you cant ignore.
Listen to your heart and your head and that little voice deep inside you and the follow it.
If you dont want to ruin your frienship dont enter a relationship.

Life is too short. But, tred lightly. Love has its reason that reason knows nothing of.-Pascal. It's better to have loved than not loved at all. Just give him a card, a hug...and tell him that your thinking of him. Relationships are work...if you really like him, if you think that he is a good prospect, if you think that he is a great guy...then just do little things and build upon your relationship with him. A friendship is a relationship. Be straightforward to him. Tell him you like his foxiness!:-)

it really depends on what you want. Can you see yourself being with this guy for a long time if so i think it would be worth waiting. But the thing i don't agree with is he should not stop you from seeing other people. If you want to be with him now tell him, if you want me you can have me now, if you don't want me now i might not be waiting when you do. Trust me if he really want you he will take you now but if he makes the choice to wait and you cant do that his loss.

no u should not wait for him to get his head together, if that is the true reason. just continue to be friends with him but if someone else catches your eye too bad. as if he has feelings for u he should not pass them by.

Trust me on this never get into a relationship with someone your friends with. The closer the friend the worse it can get.Even if you seem perfect for eachother DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!
