The human nervous system consists of around two hundred billion nerve cells - or neurons. Roughly and based on anatomical features the nervous systems can be divided into two parts – the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral (PNS). Of the 200 billion or so neurons making up the human nervous system, approximately half are found in the brain.

The nervous systems makes us feel- the somato sensory cortex. Your stomach might grumble but it is ur brain that rightly interprets it as hunger - makes u feel!
It is a complicated network through out the body (name an organ & u have a specific nerve innervating it) that communicates with every organ of the body.

-nerve cells (neurons) r NOT renewed
-it never stops working... it works 24/7 while u r walking, sleeping... etc
