i like this guy but he likes my friend and he doesn't notice me. my friend doesn't like him in that way but she really wants a boyfriend so if he asked her out she would go with him.

You don't want to be involved with someone who doesn't share the same feelings you have. I know how you feel, most of the guys I like are always interested in someone else and the guy's that like me I could care less about. Just keep looking for someone else, don't bother with someone who is not interested in you, if you get involved, you'll just get hurt. You can't make someone have feelings for you, it's just a waste of time.

It's a classic situation for both sexes. Like the J Geils song said "you love her, but she loves him, and he loves somebody else, you just can't win...Love Stinks!"
I would try, as much as possible to play it cool. I'm assuming I'm much older than you so I've been through this before. And realize, no matter how much you don't want to, you can't MAKE him like you. Boy, have I learned that over the years.

i know right where your coming from i have been through the same thing so what i can say is that just go up to him and tell him that you like him and that your friend doesn't like him and that if he asked her out she would go out with him but she wouldn't like him
