what does science & math are tools of engineering mean???

Engineering is applies science. We take what is taught in school in math and science and solve real world problems. For example, we have a river, and need a bridge to cross it. The engineer will design the bridge, using principles or Force, weight, and the tools he will work with are math. Engineers do many different calculations in doing their jobs.
