OK...this is borderline rediculouse BUT if you were gonna have a little get-together for the start of the show Lost...what would you serve to eat? Keep in mind the food should go with the shows theme. It can be snacks...meals...drinks...etc. Thanks!

Put chex mix in generic bags and boxes with the Dharma logo on it or something. Maybe a big jar of ranch dressing next to a veggie tray. And cut up fruit. And goldfish crackers. Maybe peanut butter on celery or crackers, (since the pregnant woman wanted peanut butter). Happy snacking!!! :)

And, if you're looking for a meal, try pork ribs, in honor of the wild boars.

They are on an island so I would use island food.

Island Chicken with Fruit Salsa

INGREDIENTS
2 (15 ounce) cans pineapple tidbits, drained with juice reserved
2 mangos - peeled, seeded and diced
2 green chile peppers, diced
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice and pulp
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup dark rum
1/2 clove garlic, minced
8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, mix the pineapple and reserved juice, mangos, peppers, cilantro, lime juice and pulp, orange juice, rum, and garlic. Let stand for one hour before adding chicken.
Strain juice from some of the salsa, and set aside to use for topping the chicken. Marinate the chicken breast halves in the bowl with the remaining salsa mixture for 2 to 6 hours.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Discard salsa used for marinating, and bake chicken for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken juices run clear. Top with reserved salsa to serve.

Floating Island Punch

INGREDIENTS
2 cups water
2 cups white sugar
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 pint orange sherbet
1 liter ginger ale
1 liter carbonated water
1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
1 orange, sliced in rounds
4 cups ice

DIRECTIONS
Bring water to a boil. Add the sugar and boil until it becomes a syrup. Let cool.
In a punch bowl combine lemonade, orange juice, ginger ale, and carbonated water. Mix in the sugar syrup. Add ice and sherbet. Just before serving add cherries and cherry juice and float orange slices on top.

Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
2 cups ketchup
2 cups brown sugar
1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks, undrained

DIRECTIONS
Place the sausage, ketchup, sugar and pineapple in the slow cooker and mix together.
Cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours, until sausage is cooked through.

well if you want to stick to the theme then i suppose you would just go tropical with fruits like a fruit salad and coconuts that sort of thing.
another way to go might be to serve jamican rum . not many would argue with that choice.

chex mix because you have to "find" your favorite piece, or mixed nuts - you know what I mean, some people like to "dig" until they pick out their favorite
