If muslims can't drink alchool because it's made from fermented grains or grapes, can they drink distilled?

Liquors like vodka? It's made from potatoes after all.
And if not then can they drink mead? It's fermented honey water.
Or is the ban just a blanket one?
Because I for one love watching muslims having a cold beer on a summer day. The enjoyment of breaking a stupid religious rule is one of the great pleasures in life...

Yes. of course. Anything that is against the law is interesting to experience. That is the nature of mankind. Who say stealing is not interesting ? But, is it right for U to do it ? The Muslims are forbid from drinking alcohol because it cause the drinker to become intoxicated, could not think wisely, drunk, become weak, slur, and etc. For the safety and well being of the worshippers, Islam forbid drinking alcohol. However, only the pious Muslims will not drink and comply to the rules, those Muslims who are not pious will break the rule and drink. After all it is the duty of the individuals to take care of their own grave.

Blanket, but nobody follows rules all the time. Try tuak sometime. It's a potent drink made from palm sap. Popular among some Muslims and others in South East Asia.

First of all, does it matter to you one way or the other, I doubt it. What I can't figure out about you "Atheists" is that if you are so freaking open minded why is it that you constantly belittle and abuse people who do believe in something besides bashing others.
