Not married when you are married on your fafsa? My husband and i will be getting seperated but i want to attend school now. I would hate that they want his income on my report.

Combined we make $90000 I make alot less with a child. What will happen if i tell a white lie?

I honestly woudn't.. It may come back and bite you in the butt. FAFSA is associated with the government. Try contacting someone at the Financial Aid website and asking them this question.

You should read The Cheating Culture: Why more Americans are doing wrong to get ahead by David Callahan. In answer to your question, there are no "white" lies. They're all as black as coal and all run the risk of exposing the person for what they really are. Remember - wrong isn't wrong only if you get caught.

Well, if you don't want to do that...I say you sit down and talk with him if your getting divorced for a reason that is not that big. 1) It will save you from telling a little white lie when you really don't want to. and 2) It'll save your relationship.

You will be falsifying your application which will be easy to discover. Put seperated after you are, or pay like everyone else.
