Of course Superman would stop it. Superman is a hero. God is not, nor never claimed to be a hero.

It's a shame we don't have a Justice League.

Superman wouldn't care what race or religion you are, he would just save you unconditionally

Even Superman could not stop all the bad deeds happening all across the globe, so his contributions are still but that of a single individual trying to right whatever wrongs he can, which is to be commended. If there were a god, I don't think he would object, as he doesn't seem to object to doctors saving lives and police, firefighters, and the courts doing what they can to uphold justice.

Incidentally, according to Judges 1:19, iron appears to be God's kryptonite: "And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron."

For one thing, thinking about the hypotheitcal woulda coulda and shoulda's are a waste of thought. Superman does not exist, God does, and as for Why God allows for this pain and suffering?

Suffering is the result of human sin. The world is not the way that God created it and because of that, all are vulnerable to the affects of sin in the world. Why does one person suffer and another does not? Why do catastrophes happen to some and no others? It is because sin is in the world. But there will come a day when the Lord will return and cleanse this world of all sin and all suffering.

God is not necessarily in favor of the "bad stuff." Religions have struggled with the question of Evil, with numerous different answers.

The belief that God want evil to exist is not a common answer to this problem.

That being said, Superman is often presented as being semi divine. There are numerous parallels between him and Jesus, and other parallels with Isaac.

Additionally, Superman used to be religious himself, often mentioning "Rao", a Kryptonian word for God. (This was back in the eighties.)

And let's not forget, God allows Superman to come to Earth.

Both are fictional characters so what does it matter.

The only real difference is no one is killing anyone in the name of Superman.
