My boys are 17, 14, 10 & 8. I'm 38 and my time will soon be over. I have 4 boys and I want a girl.

oh my god u had 4 kids..and the youngest is still 8...no you are a woman sent from god...praise u..lol heck no u had your babies...god gave u what he gave u...u might have a grandduaghter one day lol...do u really want to start all over again...by time the 5th is in college u will be almost in your 60's...i say no...enjoy the 4 now.. im sure they are wonderfull..and dont u and your husband want some alone time one day...no offense...but you do what u feel is best...whatever decsion a baby can never be a bad thing they are a gift from god...so if it was me i wouldnt at 38 with 4 kids under my belt...

Good luck with a baby after 35. I suggest before you have a child you make sure you read up on all of the information on having baby's after 35. My Boyfriend's mother is 38 and she had her last child at 35. Her daughter has a learning disability and my Aunt had a child about 4 months ago and her daughter has spina bifida. You are now high risk for causing your child to having birth defects and other problems so if you do get pregnant, keep in mind that you are high risk
You may not get a little girl like you are wishing for. The male makes the sex of the child, so tell him to have a talk with his buddies down there. Be careful, make sure you keep an eye out for exact time of getting pregnant and make a doctor's appointment as soon as possible..

You do what is right or you and your family...I am almost 36 yeasr old and am 33 weeks pregnant with number 6. I had one every 3 years...1992 1995 1998 2001 2004 and coming soon...lots of people think I'm crazy but I love all of my kids and as long as I can take care of them I say why not? Don't necessarily try JUST to get a girl b/c odds so far are that you may be disappointed (LOL), but if you can handle the possibility of another boy then more power to ya!!!

I don't think that 38 is too old, but you must know that there is no guarantee that you will have a girl. You might just have 5 boys! But, if your spouse is in agreement and you have the stability and energy, go for it!

My grandmother had a baby at 38 and my mom just had a baby at 36 so I say go for it just take extra care of your body since you are older. and Good luck!
