If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.

First, go to the Church you're interested in. Set up an appointment with either the priest or the Director of Religious Education.
They will have you start a course of study in which you learn about the Catholic faith, and begin the process of RCIA, or Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. This will take you through the necessary sacraments, after which you will likely know more about the Catholic faith than many of those raised in it.
Good luck on your journey.

get baptized first...my wife was baptized as an adult...then you will have that out of your way. then just study catechism sp? well that can be done at any Catholic church. then go to mass and take confession and communion...tithe...pray and study the word of God in the Bible..then when you see all the contradictions in the King James Version..not the Catholic bible you will probably either convert to a Bible following faith or you could do what Martin Luther did and try to reform the Catholic Church..but don't look for that happening in our life time..good luck and may God Bless you in your Journey to Heaven...Faith will move mountains

You would take a series of instructional sessions called the RCIA Program (Rites of Christian initiantion for Adults). It usually runs about 9 months, once a week. At the conclusion of the program you would be baptized and confirmed, receive the Eucharist for the first time, and be formally accepted into the Church.

That's about all that it takes.Get baptized and you can be a Catholic.Wouldn't it be a good idea to go to Jesus rather than a priest?Wouldn't it be better to let the Holy Spirit teach you how to be a Christian than going to classes that teach you how to be a catholic.

Go to your local parish, and ask to speak to the priest.
You will need to take classes for about 8 months called RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults).
Once you have completed the classes, you will receive the sacraments of baptism, first holy communion, and confirmation.
You will then be a Roman Catholic.

You start by contacting the Parish Priest of your nearest Catholic church and He will give you the needed info, it is not a complicated process as it was before Vatican ll and baptism will be included in your instruction to the faith.

Step one: talk to a priest
Step two: do the process he tells you about.
Why get the answer from some idiot on here. The first step is the priest and he will be happy to help you out and won't get it wrong.
