First, I'll just list the obvious- Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty(Liberty Island), eat in Chinatown, take a walk in Central Park, and see a Broadway play. The coolest thing to do is to go to Times Square, find a Starbucks, and sit there drinking it up and watching people and trying to find celebs. Times Square is just a fun place to walk around. Then try to go take a picture with the bronze bull on Wall Street. You have to take a picture with it's butt, too. At Groundzero, there's a guy called the Piper of something or another. He's a very interesting guy and is always walking around there passing out conspiracy theory packets. Century 21 is the best place to shop for disocunt designer clothing. That's the best stuff I can think of. It's also not a bad idea to look up concerts and events that will be going on while you're there. The link below is an event calendar for NYC. Quite nifty.

One thing I did in New York that was fun is watch the people on the street or in the subway that do things for contributions alot of these people are good fun and interesting to watch. Go to Times square and if ever there on New Years Eve it is a great experience. A walk through the park and if you have the chance to see the Christmas show at Radio City music hall.

Clubbing perhaps? Stop by the MTV studios if you're interested... or look up free tickets to talk shows.
