Saute, bake, fry, grill the porkchops. Saute and season some finely chopped or thinly sliced onions. Now the choice is yours. You can top the pork chops with the sauted onions alone, or you can add flour water and more seasoning and make a gravy to top the pork chops.

To me, a smothered pork cop is a pork chop smothered in lots of yummy items. I fry or bake up some boneless pork loin chops and then when they are done, I take them out and place them in a baking dish, and then I pour the pan drippings over top of the pork chop when it comes and then cover the top of them with chopped tomatoes, green onions, and bacon bits. Then I cover all that with shredded cheese and put in the oven again to bake. Take it out when the cheese melts completely. Tastes really good, but you can "smother" it with anything you like. Different kinds of veggies, sauces, and cheeses would work just as well.

Moms recipe is so yummy. Dip pork chops in egg, then flour, and fry in butter. Take out the pork chops and keep them warm. scrape the crunchy stuff in the pan some but leave it in there and add a little more butter & flour and toast the flour, add some half and half and stir over med. heat till thickened. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Also, an easy way is to slow cook pork chops in a crock pot with canned cream of mushroom soup. Enjoy!

Saute the pork chop on med-high heat until browned on both sides. Then add 1 can beef stock and bake in 350 oven for 20-30 minutes until tender. Remove from oven and place pork chops on plate. Place the pan back on the stove and add Wondra or flour mixed into a little milk and cook until thickened. Add any seasonings desired, such as salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, rosemary.... it all depends on what you like.
