Iblis,
I don't know your age...have you ever watched kids in a playground? Established, neighborhood kids can be quite cruel to those who are new...and can look and act just like them.
Now, do you think all those kids were taught to act like that? Most likely they go to church with their parents, right?
I'm not saying, by any stretch that wars are being waged by folks who act like children. It's human nature. Human nature supercedes religion.

You really should avoid generalizations - not all Christians, not all Muslims are hate-mongerers. In fact, it has nothing to do with religion, though hate-mongerers are quick to use religion as a justification. You are obviously missing out on the hate and pointless violence done in no gods' name.
Religion does not cause violence and hate, people do. Religion and politics (think of the democracy vs. communism cold war) are the two best excuses we as a society can come up with to kill people.
If there were no religion, we would find some other reason.

I am a Christian. I have never claimed that I want peace. It is easy to figure out that there will never be peace in the world. I guess it would be nice but people might as well accept that and move on.

In the case of Christians, I don't believe they've killed anyone in the name of god for over a hundred years. That's not to say that certain so called "Christian countries" haven't been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands because of money. Yes money, not democracy, not freedom or human rights, money. The Muslims community mainly has focused it's wrath on Israel and those who support Israel for stealing their land(the Muslims) and the slaughter of their Innocent people for occupying that land. As for your non-existing god... who's to say? I myself lean toward Grand Design simply because the evidence can't be refuted on a molecular level by any reasonable argument presented by those who side with a Chance formation of the amino acid chains necessary to form the proteins building blocks so life could begin in the primordial soup=)

This is the easiest question yet today. the whole matter of the fact is that the worlds or at least the western and middle eastern worlds 3 main religions all spring from the same monotheistic judgemental intolerant religion judaism which brought forth christianity and then islam, now that would all be fine and dandy if the followers of these religions werent taught from birth to be intolerant and any one else who has beliefs differing from theirs is an abomination to their lord and a heretic before the curse of these religions the rest of the world from native americans aztecs japan china europe africa and even the aborigal australians all worshipped a polytheistic system of beleives now how could the whole world have been wrong and the worlds most troubled turmoiled spot to this day be right? to this day the middle east is in chaos and that is area where we choose to beleive in religion from no thank you i will stay a pagan/heathen

Any "Christian" who kills another man is not a Christian at all but a wolf in sheeps clothing, and will answer to God. However anything can be forgiven if TRULY repented of.
All the Christians in the past that killed people were not Christians they used the guise of Christianity to promote their own agenda.
This is what Jesus had to say about killing...
Matthew 5:
38Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
We are told to not even kill in self defense.
1 John 3:
14We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Galatians 5:21
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Ah ignorance is bliss. You must be enjoying the bliss you are in. It is quite easy to throw around blanket statements like you just did. Research and find the truth for yourself.
If a group of people misrepresent themselves as muslims and kill in the name of Islam, don't blame Islam, blame that group of people. There is a lot I can say but you must stop being ignorant first :).
Peace.

Who bombed Lebanon?
Who was responsible for the Holocaust?
Who hanged black ppl in the south?
All groups kill other groups in the name of their beliefs. This is the passage of humanity.

That is all man kind. People have done that forever.
But I like the name, Iblis. That's the Muslim word for "Devil" is it not? I have not seen too many people use that.

I am a Christian.
There are many people I know who are not Christian.
I have yet to kill any of them.
Where have I gone wrong?
