I *am* an electric blanket! Seriously, I pump out enough body heat for 5 people, so my problem is staying cool enough--even in the winter.

I use to when I lived up north,boy they sure felt nice. I live in the south so there is no need for one.

No!! I have heard they produce a magnetic field which could be linked to cancer with long term exposure to them,!!

Only if I am ill - and then only if it is very cold. They can get short circuited inside and start a fire.
