I read on a previous question that defacation is a sin. So, if thats true, then eating must be a sin also. I also read somewhere that you cannot get into heaven if you were rich on Earth.
So that means, God wants us to be anorexic, hungry, and poor. As long as you're all those things, and as long as you accept Jesus into your heart (whatever that means).....then you can get into heaven.
Is this the kind of God that you want to worship?

Hi Abby, all this things are complete rubbish and some Christians who answer with stuff like this do not know what they are talking about, they read scripture and interpret how they see fit and do more harm than good.
We really do not fully understand why God allows suffering but we do know that Jesus suffered for us and so there has to be a reason for that we cannot grasp, if God could have used another way then H e would certainly have chosen it instead.
There is a paradox in suffering so that the greater good can be achieved, people say that God brings good out of suffering and we can see this in the death and resurrection of Christ, to win the crown of glory it seems that we must endure suffering, like no pain no gain.

The unfortunate truth is that people are reading a set of words and putting their own interpretation on them. Words are symbols. Each person views the same symbol from a slightly different view.

When I say cat, what do you think of? Small, furry, 4 legs, and meows. Is it the Siamese cat I thought of? No? Guess you're wrong then..... doesn't make sense to me.

The second unfortunate truth is that people place their ego between god and themselves. They translate these words as they think they SHOULD be translated. This puts a bias between them and anyone they communicate with. The words are to be held in your heart of hearts where you cannot describe what you know. You can only show people by acting. In the fight to be right they have lost the meaning.

I do not WORSHIP god. I talk to him. I speak my feelings freely and allow him/her/it to answer. When the answer comes I see it and follow. It is not for anyone else to judge me and my reactions in this conversation. I know god as I know god. I have removed my ego and do not force others to follow MY god. I can only say MY god because no one else has the same connections as I do. No one else has walked my path and come to god as I have. There may be similarities but they are not me and I am not them.

Dear Friend,

The Bible teaches that god does not want us to suffer, otherwise he would not have given his son for our salvation John 3:16.

The teaching in the bible about the rich man and the kingdom of heaven says:

Matthew 19:17-24 Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."

18"Which ones?" the man inquired.

Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, 19honor your father and mother,'[a] and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'[b]"

20"All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?"

21Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

22When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

What Jesus is actually saying is that when you are unfettered by the material things of this world, it is easier to follow his teaching. Jesus tought us to love one another as we love ourselves. This teaching would, if put into effect by everybody eradicate poverty and hardship. Because those who had much, would give those who had little.

So in short, God wants us to live in the peace and Joy that he first intended for us

Why not read the book of Mark. this explains many of the bibles teachings, or find a local Methodist Church and enquire about bible study groups in your area if youy want to know more.

God Bless

God does not want anyone to suffer. God is concerned about what is in your heart. If we were judged by our physical appearance and our bodily functions, then none of us would make it into heaven. We are all sinners and we need to be saved from that sin. God is merciful and he has offered us a way to resolve our sin nature. The blood of Jesus is the way. Jesus has done for us what we cannot do for ourselves, that is atone for our sin nature that we have inherited from Adam. God cannot tolerate sin and we cannot stand in his presence in our current condition of sin. Thus, Jesus the Son of God manifested himself in human form to die as a man and to atone for our sin as God. When we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior we are spiritually cleansed of our sin by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts our hearts that we need to make a change and it is Jesus that saves through his shed blood. God created hell for the unsaved as a merciful act. this may sound strange, but the unsaved would be totally out of place and totally miserable in heaven, having nothing in common with the place or with God. Hell is no picnic, but it is someplace to go for those who refuse to accept Jesus.

Did the person who said that even know what the word "defacation" means? I never heard that it was a sin, except from the "Simpsons". One should not get his theology from Homer Simpson.

All who live godly in "Christ Jesus"(the reverse of "Jesus Christ") shall "suffer"; Perhaps since the God they worship is the awful lawful God on "high", in the plural divided left/right "heavens". The God of Jesus -> Christ: the end of the law, is notably in "heaven" above: "higher than the heavens", and is "merciul", not merciless. Peace with God is "through Jesus -> Christ". Through denotes go in one side and out the other side of Jesus -> Christ.

"Jesus": "made under the law": Galatians 4:4
"Christ": "the end of the law": Romans 10:4
"Ye are not under the law, but under grace": Gal & Rom.

Grace(Friend): "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee": higher
Law(Enmity): "I will forsake you", the city, your fathers: on high
Christ is our peace who abolished the law(enmity): Eph 2:14,15

Pst - mind not "high" things: Rom 12:16
Pst - be not "high"-minded: Rom 11:20; 1Tim 6:17
Pst - high-minded is among un-holy things: 2Tim 3

People recovering from getting "high",
afterward speak of a "HIGHER" power.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Abby,
The bible says God wants what is best for us. Jesus even asked, "What father if asked by a child for a piece of bread would give him a rock?"
God created us. We rid our bodies of waste by defecation=created by God.

Being a lover of money (root of all evil) is a sin. Many men in the bible were rich but they did not put riches over God. Understand?
Love God first and foremost, not money first.

God loves you and sent his son to die for your sins. We "All sin and fall short of the glory of God" We can't enter heaven by our good works. We aren't good enough and who's good according to God? No one. Jesus died and took on our sins on the cross. Sin causes death. Jesus escaped death and rose again. Anyone who follows Jesus and his teachings puts on christ, is clothed in Christ. Then when we die God sees in son, Jesus, instead of our sins. Then we can live with Jesus in heaven forever amen! If you are sincere, ask Jesus to reveal himself to you and he will!

When one gets all their information on this site, one can really get mixed up. Try reading the bible yourself, the King James Version, starting with the gospel of John.

I consider Jesus(PBUH*) as a prophet of ALLAH. I worship ALLAH and yes I'd worship ALLAH even if he wanted me to be poor. Because poor people will be blessed more in Jinnah.
