For a number of reasons - before the age of 35. However, it doesn't make having kids after 35 impossible - just more problematic.

"A pregnancy after age 35 may require some special precautions, because it can be riskier than childbearing during the optimum years of ages 20 through 34. But advances in medical care have made it safer than ever before, and most women in their late 30s and 40s have healthy pregnancies and babies. Still, there are factors to keep in mind if you're considering a pregnancy after age 35."

Some of those things are decreased fertility, greater risk of miscarriage, more health problems, harder delivery, and greater risk of genetic disorders.

Of course when your old enough (I would say at least 18) but there is no "right" age. If you are going to school and have the discipline, then wait until your done with school. I'm 7 weeks pregnant and was devastated initially because I was not ready. Well, your never "ready". If you wait until your financially ready, if that time every comes, then your probably going to be too old to have kids. God already has your life planned out so when it's your time to get pregnant, you will. I've only hear of a few couples planning exactly when to have kids and actually succeed at it but if you can, your very lucky.

when I got pregnant at 16 I thought I was ready and it turned out I had no idea what the hell I was doing as a matter of fact I still don't I'm learning everyday. But I realized when I was 24 and had my second child I had alot more patience and was a much calmer person so I wish I would have waited but who knows my oldest is 13 now and I have no clue what to do with her half the time maybe the reason I feel I'm better now is because I've got some experience.

i imagine 24 is a exceptionally solid age to have your first toddler! I had my first at the same time as i grow to be 19, I grew to grow to be 20 4 months after having her. yet i imagine of youthful moms as like everybody less than 17 or 18. i extremely imagine it really is too youthful, even 19 is kinda youthful, yet a minimum of they're considered adults and are waiting to do better than a fifteen 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous or like that.

I would say after 20 and married and having your own place to live are all good markers to set a goal for before trying to have a baby. Don't listen to those who say wait til your financially stable that takes a long time and it means different things to different people and it could be forever and you may regret that. A child costs money but you don't have to be a millionaire to have one.

you should only have a baby when you are old enough to take on such a big responsibility. a baby is not like having a pet. you should hopefully be married and have a stable job. if your asking this sort of question, then your probably waaaaaaay to young to be thinking about having a baby!! get a dog or cat.
