The same hospitals the rest of the population goes to. They put them in restraints and have a police escort.

In New York City, I believe they are usually taken to Bellevue Hospital, which has accomodations for that scenario. I don't know about other large cities in the country, but it is possible they also have a hospital with special facilities for police suspects. I doubt anything smaller than our largest cities has a hospital that they specifically bring a suspect to (being the only hospital in the city doesn't count!).
In other countries, I have no idea, sorry.

I think it would depend on the degree of injury..............I know that when I was having my baby in California there was two females chained to the beds also giving birth which sort of really irked me that half the area was closed off with a MASSIVE police presence to detain / protect them and it was all being paid for by taxes, or at least BET they did not get the nice bill at the end of the stay that I did............
If already in Jail they have a medical wing and if in holding cells they have a doctor on call.

We only have one hospital in our town so they go to that one accompanied by two officers. Depending on the offence they officers will stay there until they are released. If it is a minor offence and the hospital stay will be long, they will be released at the hospital with a future court date (summons) or a warrant will be issued and they will be re-arrested when released.

I know that in my city convicts who are under custody go directly to the city's primary hospital. I don't know if there is a specific area hospital assigned or not...probabaly it is a State by State decision. But, I remember seeing convicts escorted, cuffed and in specific jail dress going through my hospital when I had brough one of my kids in.

I know here in Minneapolis they do and have gone to the Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) some are in handcuffs or used to be when they were brought in. The Minneapolis police have brought in drunks, homeless that have been attacked and others that have been arrested on the street in fights, knifings and shootings and have had officers with them when they come in and have to be seen there!

It would be the same hospital and hospital treatment as anyone else....except that they'll be handcuffed to the bed and an officer will be with them at all times.

Usually the one that is nearest the police station he would be incarcerated at. Some use the county hospital as well.

Any of your local hospitals. They have a policy though. The prisoner must be handcuffed, or restrained, and there should be either an officer there or security guard there at all times.
