One of the answers above said - how would you feel if you were cheated on? - well, if I was ever cheated on the first question that would come to mind after I got over my initial reaction of anger and betrayal would be "why did you do this? what do he/she need from someone else that I couldn't give them?"
now some people will be cheaters no matter what because they simply can never be loyal and like the rush of whole cheating feeling - if that is the case then I'd probably do something illegal because that upsets me.
However, if I wasn't fulfilling their needs as much as they were mine then I'd take part of the blame. Now they should not have cheated because if there was a problem they should have brought it up, so they are definitely in the wrong. But what was the reason.....what is the reason you want to cheat?? if it's just because you want to then you're a player and always will. If you're missing something then you need to have the courage and strength to talk with your significant other.

Assuming you're married, by all means, treat yourself, and then the next day, treat your wife to a nasty case of herpes, warts, or HIV, if you feel that is morally right? But, who are you to say nobody will find out? Someone will always know and they can hold it against you, people have big eyes and even bigger mouths.

In the end you will be found out. There's only so long you can keep your 'little secret' before you start slipping up and give the game away. Why not do something that isn't going to hurt others to give yourself a little treat?

no!!! it's not ok! it doesn't matter if someone finds out or not, there is always that possibility and your relationship will be better if you can commit to it fully! How would you like it if they also had flings on the side?

No - it's not ok. How do you look yourself in the mirror knowing that you have made the commitment to one person yet you are cheating on that same person. If that person isn't worth 100% commitment from you - then don't make the commitment and end it if you can't keep it.

No its not okay cheating is wrong and sooner or later you will get caught up with.People get hurt not worth it.Maybe you should stay single awhile if you arent already married. This way you can go out with whomever you want.Have lots of friends. Be careful.

regardless how many people accept it, how many do it, it is wrong, always has been, always will be. Some will be wrong forever, no matter what color you paint it. And if a person still decides to do something like that, then just be prepared for the consequences, because it always comes to the light one way or another.

That you ask the question Bob implies that you are not comfortable with "flings on the side."
.....and NO, it is not OK.
