im a stylist..what happens is, if u leave the beauty salon and there a nice perfectly blonde color and ur pleased but u notice over a few day that they change to a golden/orange blonde its probebly a combination of the shampoo ur using and the elements in ur water..GO to the dug store ..theres a shampoo called 'silver brights'..its actually purple but dont let that scare u..its purple for a reason..if u look at the colorwheel..purple/blue neautralizes golden/yellow tones. its designed for ppl with blonde /white hair to keep the unwanted yucky tones away..
hope this helps..

That is because your natural base color hair has a lot of yellow pigment some hair had red, orange etc. so Next time that you go to the salon ask for ASH highlights, but now you can try a toner to cool down the yellow or a rinse (fancy full) also it will be a good idea to use a special shampoo for blonde hair. you can buy them at any beauty supply.

Get some shampoo made especially for highlighted hair which will restore them to the original color. Have you seen the little older ladies w/blue hair? They use these shamppos to brighten their hair and to get rid of the nasty yellow that some people get in their gray. The shampoo is purple therefore turns to a blue w/overuse. But, if you use it according to the directions, it will take care of your highlights.

Basically it depends on your hair color and quality of the highlights,as well as hair products you use. Try matting the highlights by a professional colorist.

Try using a toner.

Well, if you had them professionally done, it means the stylist didn't leave it on your hair long enough. Or maybe your hair doesn't take to bleach that well.
