Try any Aussie Product!!! They work wonders!! My friends hair sounds like yours and what she uses is Aussie "Leave in Conditioner with Frizz control" Its mixed into one and its in a little pump bottle. Try Garnier Frutics(SP?) Sleek and Shine!!!

Yep. They actually came up with this professional hair straightener that doesn't damage your hair at all. I think it's because the parts that heat up are made of ceramic.
It's a little expensive, but it's totally worth it, since it does a good job, and it lasts up to 10 hours!!

I also have really thick hair,so before I straighten I use Got 2b Crazy Sleek.It also makes straiting you hair a lot easier.Good Luck!!

Use good shampoos and conditioners firstly, then use good products. Like leave-in conditioner / heat protector. It comes in spray form, cream form, and mouse form. And a good ceramic straightener is key.

My daughter took after me and my hair is similar to yours, we tried straightening her hair and it made it really poofy, no matter what we tried it wouldn't lay flat at all.
