Funny you should post this one. My little guy who is 3 pooped in the tub for the first time last night. He had been playing quite contently in there when all of a sudden he started to scream "MOMMY HURRY!!!" There he was wedged into the corner of the tub while the poo floated around in the bubbles. He was in terror then he started to apologize for pooping and was almost in tears thinking he did something wrong. (we are in the potty training process...have the pee-pee thing down but its been a chore with the poo part of it)
So I fished the "floater" out with some paper towel, drained the tub and gave the boy a shower. (I cleaned the tub after he went to bed)
So no need to panic...like they say "sh*t happens"

I think every parent goes through that. I have a 5 yr old daughter and she has done this befor when she was like 1-2 yrs old. It was funny, she was just playing inthe tub and all of a sudden I see something that doesn't belong in there so I just got it out with a plastic cup that can be trown away dumped it into the toilet, drained the water with her still in the tub, had her stand up while I washed her body and hair and just got her out and cleaned the tub after and cleaned het toys with hot water and soap and sprayed a little lysol on them. No big deal but very funny and kinda gross.....

This is an every other day occurrence for me :( lol My daughter who's almost one has pooped in the tub many times now. She doesn't seem to notice she just feels better. I take her out and get her ready for bed. We try to use the potty before the bath but just can't seem to catch her before she poops. I would take her out get her dressed then clean the tub. Don't may a big deal out of it because when you start to potty train her she won't want to go if it gets you upset when she pooped before. Good luck. LOL

My little girl has never pooped in the tub but has peed in it. Of course you get her out and clean the tub and re bathe the kid! Not doing so is nasty.

my son did that more than once, luckily we had a shower separate from the tub, so I put him in there, pickup up the toys, drained the bath water, clean the tub, put the toys back and soak them in bleach water, be sure to rinse them well

haha. i know every child has done that, especially if they arent potty trained. my boyfriends son has done it several times (about same age as your daughter). sometimes he didnt realize it, others he laughed. we corrected him and told him that it isnt good to do that and it was wrong. pulled him out. picked all the toys out. drained it. cleaned it. then tried again. just tell her that she cant do that and it isnt funny. big girls need to go in the toilet and to tell you when she has to go...i am sure you can think of something along those lines. it is normal though.

I think every child has done that. Both my kids did it at least once as babies.
