Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 21:25-28
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars: and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
and when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads: for your redemption draws near.

Verse 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

If you sit around watching for ht return of Christ, then you'll 3end up in hell. What Jesus is talking about is to watch how you use your time for the time is short, and that you need to be careful that you spend what time you have in service to God. Peter said to be watchful and be sober. This has nothing to do with sobriety as far as drugs and alcohol is concerned, but to watch out for the tricks of the devil and avoid them. to avoid the temptation of the devil we need to be clear-headed and alter, which is the meaning od sobriety in this case. God expects us to work for his kingdom NOW, and not sit around loafing, hoping that Jesus will snatch us up into heaven where we can continue to loaf along for all eternity. Heaven is not like that---heaven is a place of work and service and spiritual growth. If this sounds unpleasant, then consider the alternative, which is hell, a place of endless torments where the inhabitant will never have any of his needs met.

But He will come in the manner of a thief in the night, so be prepared. There will be no warning.

Are you going to spam Y!A all day with Bible verses?

Yes. No one knows when Jesus is coming back, and it is a sin to question this doctrine. Again, HOW CONVENIENT.

Thumbs down, I see, for pointing out nonsense. Why am I not surprised...?
