You pretty much answered your own question with the "cocky" part as it is a total turn-off. No woman, at least one her right mind (psycho) or that will be faithful in a long-term relationship (golddiggers who will last only so long as your money does), wants to hook up with a guy where they always have to be the center of the universe and it is always about THEM, which really leaves no room for a real relationship.

Because it's what's on the inside that counts! sounds like you need to beef up your character. it also sounds like you are under 30. You have some major work to do. If you want a serious relationship you need to put some seriou effort into yourself. then a lady will actually be able to appreciate you. the phrase "throwing themselves at you" does not help. your whole attitude needs work so try to start there. try treating women like ladies and do some internal soul searching and figure out what's missing. as for the women, it's not them. it really is you. sorry.

the way you present your self is well not in the best of maners and if you try to change that and become more sencitive and less self centered you would have better luck
