Look for a high quality, well balanced all stages food. You won't find any in the grocery stores or big box type retail stores. Some of the better pet stores and feed stores offer the best kibble. Canidae is a good one the fairly easy to find and not hard on the pocketbook. Look for a kibble that has at least 2 meat sources in the first 5 or 6 ingredients. If you see corn, wheat, soy listed as an ingredient keep looking. I also try to avoid ingredients such as beet pulp, molasses, fats(oils are ok),any by product, coloring or preservative with initials. Good luck

he could be allergic to the Lamb. you can take him to the vet and they can do an allergy test on him to make sure if he is the vet can tell you what ood he may need..but for now...my favorite food is science diet. my dog LOVES it and it is high in protien and vitamins. just stay away from any food that starts with corn or anything that doesnt have meat as the first ingredient. hope that helps
