I only use tea bags and boil them and I just use a coffee creamer. The taste is alright/tolerable but I am hoping to find a perfect recipe?

Ideas are greatly appreciated!

This is how I make chai tea. Great with Milk!
You will need a tea strainer.

Get loose tea, (supposed to have better flavor)
Boil water and loose tea adding cardamom, 2 pods, break them open and throw the shell in too.
Add sugar (optional, but a little makes it good)
then add a bit of finely chopped ginger (not too much)
let that boil nicely then add milk

Let the milk come to a boil, turn burner down low then back up to high, bring tea to a boil 3 times to get the milk nice a frothy.

Sounds like a lot of work, but it is the yummiest tea! If you have an Indian grocers around, loose tea is available there, and there are flavored ones as well.
Some people use tea masala for their chai, if you are looking for a cinnamon/nutmeg added flavor then try that as well. It is cheap to get and could be found at an Indian grocers along with the cardamom. You can also try both ways to get the taste you are looking for.

Use 3 parts water and 1 part milk. (I use more milk to make it creamy and delicious)!
For every cup of tea, I use 1 and a half teaspoons of the loose tea.

Have fun.

1. Use tea from India or Ceylon (Sri Lanka), not China 2. Use a teapot, preferably ceramic 3. Warm the pot over direct heat 4. Tea should be strong - six spoons of leaves per 1 litre 5. Let the leaves move around the pot - no bags or strainers 6. Take the pot to the boiling kettle 7. Stir or shake the pot 8. Drink out of a tall, mug-shaped tea cup 9. Don't add creamy milk 10. Add milk to the tea, not vice versa 11. Add sugar, to Taste.

You can try this method, that's how I make my tea. I use tea bags too. I boil my water, put in the tea bag, add a little bit of brown sugar (according to your taste) and add some ground cinnamon and cloves. You can use some ground cinnamon...if you dont' like cloves. Then once all this stuff is boiling, I add a little milk - plain milk not flavored creamer. and turn the stove power to slow...Let it boil a couple of times on that slow power and then sieve it. It should turn out well. I like mine that way.

3/4 cup brewed tea (such as black, green, chai, or jasmine)
1 cup ice cubes
2 tablespoons Sugar Syrup (more or less to taste; see recipe)
1/2 cup milk (or soy, almond, or rice milk)
1/4 cup Tapioca Pearls (see recipe)

Combine the tea, ice, syrup, and milk in a blender or cocktail shaker; blend or shake until frothy. Place pearls in a tall glass. Pour tea mixture over pearls, and serve with a fat straw.

Yield: Makes 1 serving (serving size: about 12 ounces)

1st you need to buy Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice tea and some 2% milk.
Bring 6 0z of water and 6 oz of milk to a boil on the stove and pull off heat, add 2 tea bags and let steep 3 min.
Sweeten with honey or sugar.
