1st of all you might try drinking the water BEFORE the meal. It will fill you up and may stop you from overeating. As far as how much water you should be drinking there is no pat answer to this questions. The whole 64 ozs a day is a guideline, not an absolute. You should drink water until your urine is almost clear. This is the only way to be sure you are drinking enough water. Keep in mind though that certain medications or medical conditions can change the color.
Don't like water? Any drink that contain no caffeine, alcohol, sugar or sodium, and are fewer than 15 calories per serving is considered water.
