I remember my Labs,,,when I was sad, they would lay their head on my lap as if to say..." Don't be sad, it'll be alright"...Loved those dogs sooooo much!!!

Why are you paying so much attention to that plastic box with the funny light in it and petting that clicking plastic tray when you could be petting and playing with ME? When are we going to go for a WALK?

Unfortunately, my dog jumped from a place when he was young and hit his head. I believe that is the cause for his behavioral problems. When we want to pet him, he bites. Unless he comes himself to be petted. We kept him anyway. :)

Great question. My chihuahuas would say, "pet me, pet me". They always want attention and usually get it. My blue heeler mix would say, "where's my dog biscuit?"
