Acupuncture will help you immensely. It works especially well in cases like yours when Western medicine is no good. Good Luck!

I would start with a better attorney who specializes in Work Place Injury! It will have to be determined who erred in judgment- you or the employer! Were you following protocol when you were electrocuted or were you "cutting corners" for whatever your reasons? If the employer failed to provide a safe work environment you may have a legal remedy available to you!
As for the pain and suffering associated with it, a lawsuit takes that into consideration although not relieving the symptoms. That would need to be addressed by a Pain Management Specialist.
I would definitely research my options as their are statues within the law that govern your ability to seek compensation for your injuries!
Two things- The first being you will hear that you cannot "sue" your employer - only receive workers comp. That is not true so let the attorney decide that!
Secondly, find a "good" attorney! Do your homework first! Don't be going to the guy on some side street with a shingle tacked to the side of his rickedy old delapedate shack! If you're near a sizeable metropolitan area, that would be a first start. Then find the big names with the "results" reputation! Attorneys who specialize in specific areas are always more informed in that particular area of law and would most likely prevail on a better level in your best intrest!

First things first, get a better lawyer. Your attorney should be handling your case with speed and wisdom. If you have a good attorney that just isn't telling you much, that is up to you to change. Make sure you have great Doctor reports saying in them what is causing your pains and what they can do or can't do to help you. Details are very important. Make sure your attorney gets these reports. Change doctor's with your attorney help, get one that specializes in burns. Again make sure you document everything. Also remember that sometimes once you get injured you might not ever be the same again. You may just have to live with what you have . That doesn't mean that someone shouldn't take care of problems with your health. If this is work related and you are going through work comp. it could be a long process. Talk to your attorney about what you are feeling and thinking and find out where she is going with your case. Good Luck

I toasted my skin from overeposure to 3000 degree heat at work. It thinned my skin and makes my skin more temperature sensitive to hot and cold. I think my sweat glands are destroyed and I don't sweat as much and now I fatigue easily when I exercise or doing strenous activies.

This was a few years ago and now I take topamax for the pain. Topamax is prescribed for nerve pain and its also a mood stabiler so it helps me with deal with my moods.I sometimes take Wellbutrin for the fatigue. I also spray my skin with a mist of water from a water bottle in the summer so I don't overheat and dress warmly in the winter. Concentrate on your work and let your lawyer do her job. Getting upset increases the pain. Be nice to everyone at work. They will never understand your pain.

HOPE - My chiropractor and massage therapist have been helping me and recently told me about The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It has a 75% success rate - worth a look.
