Are there any websites that list new non-profits, maybe by state or region?

Excellent Question. Unfortunatelly, new non-profits must list themselves in one or more of the many non profit directories available online.

You can check at http://www.grants.gov where you can search if the non profit organization you want to locate is registered with them to receive funding or contracts.

You can also check with Volunteer Match at http://www.volunteermatch.org use their search engine to locate non profits by activity, state, or country.

If you have any problems locating the one you need, let me know by writing to dgon1329@yahoo.com.

Great answer above but you might also check with the secretary of states office. I work nonprofit & our articles of incorporation, by laws, good standing status, tax exemption status, etc. are all tracked by our secretary of states office & last time I was there, ours locally anyway had a searchable database.
