I have fine, slightly wavy, and very thin hair and my two daughter's have thick, coarse, strait hair. One is three and the other five. I have there hair cut all one length between just above shoulder length and to right past their sholders all the time because it gets so many knots, even with it short it does. I have no idea what to do with it. I tried the pony tail and I end up with bumps and hair falling out everyhere. Headbands don't stay in very well same with barettes. I've even got them bangs and it still fell in their face and was hard to deal with. What can I do?

My niece has thick hair just like your daughters and what my sis-n-law does is fixes her hair while it's still wet. Braids, pony tails etc... When i was little my mom would wash my hair and afterward spray kids detangler in my hair and comb through. She would then braid little braids through out my hair or all from top to bottom, except bangs, and let my sleep in them. The next morning before school she would take braids out and my hair would be wavy all over...so cute! I loved it. Most hair will hold better if it's wet first. You can also spray a little spray gel on hair for a little hold. I use Garnier fructis Style Curl Shaping spray gel in my son's hair because it's so curly and yet wavy so it's very hard to deal with but the gel helps keep some in place but it's also very light so it doesn't tangle it either.
I hope i was helpful!!

There are many different hairstyles for young girls with medium length hair. Because hairstyles here are between long and short, proper washing and brushing is required as well as being more careful of tangle ups in situations like swings and other playtime activities. Medium hairstyles makes up for this, by providing an abundance of cute hairstyles. From braids, to cute tiebacks, to slight curls and the ends, there are a lot to chose from.

Braids and French braids are very cute. Pigtails are ok..Try the princess shampoo and conditioner they smell EXCELLENT! for the 3 y/o try two little wrap-ups/buns on each side.. for the 5 y/o try a side pony or braids. the 3 y/o will be to wiggily for braids. Or atleast my neice is wiggily all the time when I do braids on her... :) try not to get the cheap clips get the nicer ones see if that helps.. Or even gel a small clamp clip if u know what I mean..I hope theese sites help some..

Braid their hair at night and have them sleep like that.
Also use a leave in conditioner in the morning or detangler.
Circle of Friends makes a really good detangler. Have them comb their hair in teh shower with condiitiiner on as well.
Try those thick cloth headbands-they sell them at claires or goody makes them. Also use the ponytails that are tangle free
My daughter has thick curly hair so I feel for you~

properly, to be straightforward, this does technically qualify as an attack on the area of the different female, yet i will't imagine you getting too extraordinarily a lot in damages. i'm particular the gender of the decide ought to result that, yet questioning about it i'm not particular that could be better effective. in all probability, taking legal action is in hardship-free words going to learn the attorneys in any case. Salvage the hair, your daughter receives over it is going to surely in case you do not make a huge deal out of it (no comments about how her hair regarded better effective before, etc) and make damn particular that the helpful is time-honored with of you anticipate them to be better proactive about this form of bullying contained in the destiny. EDIT: i don't understand what you all anticipate the college to do previous suspensions. very nearly all college districts i understand of do not grant the helpful authority to enact any suspensions longer than 5 days. any better severe punishments should be added before and administered via the college board.

You might want to try a grown up conditioner on their hair like pantene pro-V, watch their eyes, these arent tear-free! But a heavy coinditioner might do the trick to slim it down and make it manageable. Good luck!
