One day I decided to draw on my face with a sharpie at school. One teacher said it was inappropriate and reccomended me for suspension. Is this fair?!?!

I agree, llsexydude, suspension was the easy way out for that teacher. I would have sent you to the school guidance counselor with a note to recommend psychological treatment. That was definitely a 'Ralph Wiggam' thing to do. However, I think with treatment you can be saved.

Depends on what you were supposed to be doing and what kind of drawing you did on your face. I don't think it was fair to recommend suspension though, maybe a little extra home work would have been more appropriate.

Depends on what you were drawing and what were you supposed to be doing when you were scribbling on your nice face. I'm a teacher and I would not have suspended you but I would have made you go and try and get it off and told you that it was a foolish thing to do! Doesn't come off easy, does it.

Why would u draw on ur face??? But i do think suspension was a little over-bored. Detention is a little more suitable. I betcha wont do that again.

you teacher sounds like an a$$. recomend him for a deduction in his bonus lol..
i would write somone though an get him in trouble for going overboard with his authority.
although he has to put up with alot of $$$hole students so he may have just taken it out on you. he may be tired of the punk kids an just suspending everyone in question so he can have piece of mind lol

I would have just called you a "moron". I think a suspension was pushing it tho. Maybe she has a low tolerance for foolishness.
