I have very long, very thick hair and need a hairdryer that is very powerful and hard wearing but does not damage the hair too much. Any suggestions ?

P.S I have been recommended Conair in the past but could not find a stockist in the UK.

I have thick hair too, and the Tresemme Salon ProCeramic is great.

The Andrew Collinge one is great for keeping moisture in the hair.

I have this hair dryer:

It's expensive, I know, but I've had mine for about 2 years now and it's still great - I also have long, thick hair and I find this dries it very quickly compared to dryers I have had in the past, and it seems not to do as much damage, although on the highest setting, it does get very hot. I don't know whether the claims about tourmaline are true, but this is definitely the best dryer I have ever used, and I have always bought pretty expensive dryers.
