No, Hinduism was there before any of the other faiths, and is constantly evolving to meet societal needs and expectations, unlike many other faiths. The important part here is it evolves without taking away things that are integral to Hindu life and practice. The key to the survival of Hinduism is education, and preventing misconceptions, both in those who do not follow Hinduism as well as those who do.

A very successful religion. Hindu is the oldest religion in the world that's still being practiced although its confined mainly to the far east. The logic of the Brahman is much more appealing and plausible than the explanations given for the Biblical god. Life is a play and men are actors wearing masks

It has more chance of surviving than Chritianity. Hindus do not make any attempt to prove that thier mythologies are true like Chritians. So atheists and freethinkers are less bothered about Hinduism
