All available at your local craft store. Can even add a tag with your names and wedding date. Instead of the almonds you could do hershey kisses and add a tag that says, "Hugs and Kisses from the new Mr. and Mrs!"

How about bookmarks? I designed my own, and printed a little thank-you to the guests on them. I printed them on high quality paper at Kinko's and cut them myself. They cost about $13 for 150 of them. You could add little ribbons if you want.
I liked them because they were more practical than other favors (only smokers use matchbooks, and who really needs another tealight candle). Plus, I liked being able to include a thank you to the guests on the favors.

I like the matchbooks myself! But I would think of something you could create yourself for little or no money. Some memento that would be representative of your relationship with your fiance. I'm incorporating how my fiance proposed into our favors - it's really cute. Congrats and good luck.

For my wedding I went to a craft store and bought 50 glass tealight votive cups (on sale.. 2/$1) and I bought lavander colored sand (3 bags $1.99 each) and a bag of tealight candles($2.49), and a roll of thin ribbon ($1.49), I then went to a wedding shop and ordered ribbon with mine and my husbands first names and our wedding date ($13.99), while I was there I found those fake wedding bands (50 in a bag for $3.99{I got 2 bags}) went home and put them all together. First use a hot glue gun to adhere the ribbon, and the rings (put two together like they are connected) put the sand in the votive cup...only about 1/4 cup, put the candle in and your all set! Grand total less than $60 for 50 favors

I just went to a nice simple wedding and they gave out a nice scented candle in a very simple candle holder wrapped in a nice shiny silver material wrapping that you can buy in any craft and wedding supply store. They then threw in a few red, white and pink M-n-M's. Very nice and not too stuffy. I can't stand a wedding where they show off by giving too much of a foo-foo wedding favor. Best of luck to you and your spouse to be!!

this is what I am doing as a bridal shower favor for my soon to be sister in law. You could put your date on them...or if your names fit on there (has to be 10 characters or less) or your new last name. They also come with the saying "love". I am doing it with their names because they fit within the ten characters. I am only buying the seeds. I can buy smaller planters at hobby stores for less. I am also going to personalize it with personalized ribbon with their names and date. You could make a tag that says "Love is in Bloom." Good luck. The seeds are only .89

I think personalized shot glasses would be cute in your wedding colors. They can also double as placecard holders, or you could fill them with candy, confetti, etc. They're less than a dollar a piece. Otherwise discount mugs has lots of other favor ideas (that you can personalize)

There are variety of personalized favors that you can buy and they're not that expensive ($2.50 or less). For example, bookmarks, mint bag, tic tac, tea bag, cocoa bag, etc. Since these are already personalized, you'll only need to tie a pretty ribbon to dress them up.
