Can anyone recommend a good travel, holiday website that i won't get riped off and can give me some ideas on where to travel. Somewhere hot and active. Thanks a million.

Before looking for a website or a deal - I will suggest you is to prepare a plan 1st -
Make a brief plan for your vacation i.e. how much you want to spend - where exactly you want to go and how you want you things to roll for you - its all depends on you as its your time so I will suggest you to take full juice of it...its super important - vacations are something that can refresh you - so its very important for you to plan it beforehand - and once you are ready with you plan and all - contact the websites which are into this business - like - expedia, cheapoair(my personal best), etc - mail all your requirements to them and be very clear while putting your point - draw a comparision table - so that you can draw a clear picture as to who is offering what and at what price....
I generally follow this pattern and to be honest - I have good succes rate in terms of pocket and enjoyment...

A good place to go is Roatan, Honduras. You can snorkel and/or dive, relax on the BEAUTIFUL beach, try new foods, explore the island, visit the butterfly museum, see a dolphine show, etc. Things are so cheap compared to vacationing in the US. The people are wonderful and English is the used language on the island, so there won't be any language issues.

Its tuff to make a advice without knowing: Where are you going from? What language are you talking? Whats your budget? Do you like the dizzle and dazzle things that in vegas or do you want to be alone on the beach? On what continent do you wish to go?
My best advices is to browse the net for info on where to go and then contact a travel agent that could help you. Or maybe contact them right away and they will help you throw. Johan

I agree check out www.tripadvisor.com for the best hotels and spots to visit all over the world...Also check out www.frommers.com. As far as booking is concerned I have used www.orbitz.com plenty of times and never had a problem. but if you are nervous about that, go directly to the Airline and hotel you desire...Good Luck.

I won't use any place but AAA. some of these other places are good for ripping you off. We went to Hawaii last May for 7 nights ,air & car for $3,000.00.
