I legally downloaded some music online and it showed up as a zip file in my documents. How do you open a zip file to burn? When i open it, it doesnt come up as an mp3. How do you open these? Do I need to convert them somehow? Please, in laments terms.

The zip program compresses large files for dowloads and archiving. You need to unzip the files to your desktop or your Music folder.
The best way to do it is to use a program like WinZip or WInRar.
You can find both programs on www.download.com

ZIP files are compressed files, you need to uncompress (extract) them to use them.

If you have Windows XP you should be able to "unzip" a zip file just by double-clicking on it, or right-click and select "extract".

If you do not have XP you may need a public domain unzip program. Try searching www.download.com for one appropriate to your operating system.
