Tea is a diuretic. I have found that when I drink tea all day my mouth is extremely dry and rough.

NO, tea is still water, just flavored with a leaf...

As long as water exists in the substance you drink, you would not die of dehydration.

However, depending on the SODIUM content within a drink, like for example, POWERAID< or GATORAID, it could be EXTREMELY unhealthy to drink those types of drinks everyday on a regular bases...

Sodium drinks are good for athletes who sweat and use a lot of the salt in their bodies etc... it does need to be replaced. But its highly unhealthy to drink those types of drinks on a regular day to day basis.

No, your mouth is dry or irritated from the particles in the tea you get this same feeling if you drink lemonade or orange juice all day also. But I would worry about becoming anemic. Tea depletes your body of iron. So you might make yourself iron deficient. Which can lead to all kinds of problems.

No, there is water in tea...therefore you couldn't get dehydrated.
There is also water in food. You would have to stop eating and drinking everything in order to become dehydrated.

I wouldn't think that don't drink so much tea and your mouth won't feel dry

You can only die of dehydration if you have a zero or wholly inadequate fluid intake .
