No really, just get a nice card and give him a hug. Guys don't expect big Valentine's day gifts. A little intimacy and knowing you thought about him in that context will go a long way.

My boyfriend is a video game freak, and he always appreciates a new xbox 360 game. If your boyfriend is into music, maybe some tickets to a concert for one of his favorite bands. My brother is way into basketball. I know he would love tickets to a Pistons game. Or if he is into cars, maybe something new for his car. A boyfriend once got me a really nice cd player for my car, it was MUCH better than getting a card and candy. I know a guy would also appreciate that more than a card and candy. Good luck, i hope you find the perfect gift.

I don't want anything. I'd rather save the money and do some home imp. But if this was not an issue I would want something practical, something I can use on a regular basis. Don't get a nick nack or memento.
