Compared to what, IE6?
Its safer (#1 reason to upgrade), phishing filter, tabs, multiple home pages, rss, integrated search engine (you pick which one), cleartype, new interface (takes time to learn, but you will eventually like better).

Whatever you do, ONLY get it from microsoft update. Dont get the various branded versions like from yahoo.

I have both Firefox 2 and IE 7 on my computer, but 99% of my browsing time use firefox. I just notice different fonts displayed and better anti phising in IE 7.

Better phishing filter and less KNOWN security vulnerabilities. Other than that, nothing new.

it also helps you in printing and it has a new technology which helps you view the page clearer than the normal explorer.
