I am not the type to fix myself up, I hate slacks although I have no choice at work...I Hate wearing make-up, especially during allergie season. My hair is really curly and I can't go to the salon faithfully every week because I go to school. Can I get quick tips that won't take forever and help me save time as well.

What's so bad about your look that needs fixing? You don't need to go to a salon every week. Get regular trims on your hair every 6 weeks, and use good shampoos and conditioners. If your hair is curly and you don't like to take time styling it, you should be able to throw a little gel or moouse in it when it's damp, scrunch it up and go. Always have a hairtie and some bobby pins handy just in case.

I understand when it comes to makeup and allergies- I love makeup, but I have allergies, and when they're bad I CAN'T wear makeup because my eyes tear constantly. So if you don't want to wear makeup, what's the big deal? Maybe you could try using a loose powder on your face every day after you moisturize though, to keep away a shiny forehead. You'll look much better.

Other than that I don't know what the problem could be... maybe try getting a few dressier shirts. And make sure your clothes have no wrinkles by hanging all your shirts up.

I hope this was helpful. :)

I just read this great article on how to be beautiful in 5 minutes, basically, for your hair, BioSilk-it works wonders. Skip all the face makeup unless you just need to cover a few blemishes, Use a moisturizer that has a little sparkle to it, and put a little mascara on your top lashes only. Lip gloss, not lip stick, and your are ready to go. As far as clothes, be simple. Find a pair of slacks that are comfortable, get a few pairs in a few colors, match with a few nice and comfortable tops, sweaters are great if they are allowed at work, and wear comfortable shoes, low heel closed toe shoes like a pair of loafers with a decorative buckle or something. It doesn't take much, but be yourself, even if people keep telling you to change, if it isn't you, then it isn't you. Remember to stay true to yourself.

Make up and allergies are ok, with the right tools. You need to "tone" your skin before and after you use make up to make sure your pores are clean of the make-up.

Use make-up sparingly!! Buy foundation in the color that best matches your skin! Not too pink and not yellowish. You don't want to look like you have any on. The idea is to deceive the people around you! If you have time stop by the Lancome counter in the mall. They will help you. You can use brown tone eye shadow and liner to make your eyes look nice, I use Loreal's 4 pack brown (dark, medium, light, x-light) and an eye liner called "raisin" or "Topaz" .
If you have dark colored eyebrows, then find an eyebrow pencil that is close to your color, just to add depth to them. If you are like me and have light colored ones I use (light brown from Este Lauder)
Cheeks should be lightly dusted with color - I use Elizabeth Arden's "sand" color its a year old so I assume they have changed the color name. Check with Lancome too!
Lips you can line with a colored pencil and then use clear gloss or neutral colored gloss over it. (Makes you look like you have lipstick on)

Lastly for your hair - get a straightening iron they run about $20 at Walmart.

You can get great color tips here www.dhc.com on how do your eyes and face.

I use their products all the time and love it!

Good Luck!
