This is going to sound strange but it works get some honey, aloe (from the plant) and some some vanilla extract.
Mix about 1/4 cup of honey, and 1/4 cup of aloe vera and three tsp of vanilla in a blender not to long until it's thick and then apply to your hair for a whole day while keeping a heating cap over it.
Wash it out the next day with good conditioner ( which I will suggest adding a drop of extra virgin olive oil in it) and then style.
Try not use products with alchol in it, put go for leave on which should help your hair a lot.

Use good shampoos and conditioners. I use the Aussie line. They have a deep conditioner called the 3 minute miracle (and it's a decent sized bottle, more than 1 usage) and it works great. They're only about $3.00 at Walmart stores.
Hot oil treatments work well too. I also use leave-in conditioners from Aussie. It sprays in and you comb it through, very easy.

You need to purchase a good leave in conditioner..I like to use Nioxin Slixir Leave in Conditioner. Also you should get a hot oil treatment available for $1 at your pharmacy. pop it in the microwave and then apply it throughout your hair.
Natural ingredients for healthy moisture rich hair:
Avacados
Mayaonaise
Chamomile
Egg yolk
Lavander oil
Olive Oil
(all of the above ingredients can be used in your hair and then wrapped in a warm moist towel for 20 minutes before rinsing)
Good luck

Pantene Relaxed & Natural conditioner. It works for me, and I'm German. R&N is made for women of color, but I have to use it because I have very dry hair, the conditioner helps with the dryness and it also prevents breakage as it makes your hair stronger.

Put a drop of oilve oil in your regular shampoo or mayonaise. It makes the split ends lay down and adds a bit of glossiness from the fatty oils inside.
Whatever you do, do not soak your head in oilve oil, you will be a week getting the oil out!
Good luck.. hope this helps!

Conditioner every time you wash your hair. there is also leave in conditioner and spray in conditioners. Do not blow dry or use a curling iron or a flat iron if you can help it. Also coloring hair is drying don't do this unless necessary. Perms are even harder on your hair than color, avoid perms.
