Fear is an excellent tactic to keep large groups of people obedient or in a state where they are psychologically unable to fight. The only way to deal with terrorism is to fight.

Time to start treating each other and all races with respect, respect their ideas, cultures, and stop forcing the American Dream on everyone.

Iran formerly Persia has been around for over 2000 yrs, the USA just over 200 yrs, They have never attacked any other country, China also has never attacked another country, but yet we are scared of them.

Its time to be a leader, to get involved as young people and change this attitude thru-out the world. It will take decades to accomplish, one step at a time, and clearly one day at a time.

Why is it we only hear bad things on the news? Most people in the world only hear what their governments want them too. Including the great USA. Media is controlled by about 3 people now in the world. Ruppert Murdoch is one of the major ones and he lives in China.

If the USA does not start becoming energy independent our economy will fail shortly and panic will be the story of the day here.

Ever wonder what would happen if Iran cut off the oil? or decided to march 7 million people willing to die across the Iraq border? They have this many!! all lined up to die!!

US Economy was tanking at $3 a gallon just think what happens when it goes higher.

Did you know that the average food item is trucked 1100 miles, in america. Food is already on the rise.

Students need to demand the Wall Street start paying CEO's about 15% more than the lowest paid employees, and many other excesses that is going on. Its time to go back to 1980 pay scales and profit expectations. Only Senator i heard say this was the new Jim Webb. Webb doesnt kiss Bush's *** either.

I can tell you what NOT to do. Don't join in protest against the United States Military like all these other mindless lemmings who know NOTHING of military service; Don't deface and vandalize government landmarks that represent the fabric and dreams of America; And DO NOT spit on or desecrate the American Flag that many men and women have sacrificed their lives for in defense and service of this country. If you stomp on and spit on the American flag then you are stomping on and spitting on ALL Veterans and service men and women. Just had to get that out of the way.

What you need to do as a student is to continue your education and become an asset to our society. The best thing to do is to educate yourself about terrorism and support those who are defending you against terrorist attacks. Freeing our planet of terrorism can only be accomplished with education and action. Unserstanding the "why's" of terrorism is a must. Once we discover the reasons, then we can focus our attention on eliminating the poison which causes mankind to act out in such violent and horrific ways. Education and action. Those are your weapons against terrorism.

they can conduct anti -terrorism meets.Start organizations against terrorism.learn the reasons why terrorism is spreading and try to help victims.

The best way to fight terrorism as an average person is simply to live your life. The terrorists want you to be afraid to do the activities of normal living. Simply refuse to be intimidated and go do the things you normally do anyway.

The terrorists will leave you alone if they recognize that you - as a a people - cannot be intimidated.

And support the people fighting overseas. The enemy has admitted that they cannot defeat our armed forces - now they are working to defeat you, and cause you to betray the troops by allowing the terrorist to win.

manu, u have asked a good question. this question was asked a few dyas back by indian president Abdul Kalam himself. what i feel is that students should know that the future of their nation is in their hands. they have to learn to put their nation first. their religion, their caste and faith follows only later. they can demand something from their nation only if they have given something to the nation. before doing any major thing they have to ask themselves whether their action is going o help their nation in any way. if they live as responsible citizens, who repsect other cultures and religion and see them various paths to the same destination, their nations will develop and prosper. if each and every student of eaah and every nation in this world puts this into practice, then will not terrorism vanish from this earth forever?
