It depends on what the lawyer wants or needs in such cases. In high profile cases, many times they have investigators on their team that are phenomenal. If the lawyer feels he or she needs to hire others for strategic reasons, that isn't so unusual either.

Naw, thats television stuff. Super Cops, that kind of crap. Local police units from the state on down do a hell of a job. If you commit are crime in any city of size the city detective will have your ***. We have super units,. they are called the Feds and they have unlimited funds, low case loads and they are the most ineffective level of law enforcement there is. The most effective unit, the local cop on the beat. He knows everything thats going on and sometimes people hate him and ridicule him because he is actually effective in stopping people from doing things. Super units, no, it would just be more FBI mayhem.

They have them in each agency. If your referring to financial crimes, they are handled by the treasury dept.

Organized crime has the OCD, Organized Crime Division.

I don't think, if our investigating agency work with out any high level interference, they are the best.............I think.

Yes I think so, you definitely need special units for
higher profile crimes, as well as to investigate organised
crime, as well as deal with asset forfeitures......................
