well yes crunches will help out but i also advise you to start running more you will lose weight fast like that, some people wear thick clothing such as a sweater so that it makes them sweat more and lose more weight as there jogging, just from personal experience i went to a juvenile bootcamp where we had to do alot of exercises and running, and running was the most effective exercise, it makes you lose weight fast, and builds up your endurance and cardio. If you run at least 5 times a week a mile or 2 and do alot of crunches, then you should lose 20lbs within a month or 2 i would say depending on how much you weigh. O and also im half korean half caucasian i live in Florida.

something as spot reducing is a myth, fat is lost all over and not at certain appointed areas. A million crunches will not make u lose body fat, however u will lose some fat from that exercise all over ur body. Crunches will only strenghten the muscles and make ur tummy harder.

Drinking water actually helps to lose fat but not only drinking water i sufficient. U should have a caloric intake that is less then the caloric expenditure (so create a caloric deficit) U can do that by eating healthy (eliminating junk foods, sweets etc) and starting to eat low glycmic foods instead (veggies, wheat products etc). You can further boost your metabolism by starting to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals. Meals should contain lots of veggies, long grain products and (especially when u start cardio and workout in gym) also good level of protein, or else u will lose muscle mass and that is not good for ur metabolism. Take some fatty fish twice a week cos as strange as it sounds, fat fish is good for losing fat too (salmon, herring, mackerel etc)
Cardio exercise (aimed at fat burning so at a comfortable pace with heart rate not over 140 beats per minute) will further boost metabolish and fat loss. It would also help if u went to the gym to not really build huge muscles but to tone up ur body and get some more muscle mass. If u r a girl i would advise not too heavy weights and higher reps (btw 12-15 reps per set).

Don't stop the water drinking, keep drinking 2/3 litres throughout the day.

So 2 important things are for u to do. Increase metabolism, and create a slight caloric deficit, if u can accomplish these things u will lose as much fat as u like.

You have to do at least 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic exercise to burn fat. You can't spot reduce(I wish you could), crunches will only tone the muscle underneath the fat, but that will make you look better too, though you don't have to do 500 crunches everyday. You should not exercise the same muscles two days in a row, they need a day in between to repair themselves. Do a variety of crunches to help work all your abdominal muscles, Make sure you have the correct form, because quality is better than quantity. Of course, eating healthy and drinking 8 8 ounce glasses water everyday will help and is good for you. Good Luck!!!

I know exactly how you feel! I got so dang sick and tired of yoyo dieting and between me and my friend I think we have tried everything you can think of! In comes Herbalife. You will not believe how great you feel and how when your body is being taken care of your weight comes off.
The plan I have is have a chocolate shake or slice of chocolate pie for 2 meals a day, then for the third meal I can have whatever I want! But what’s cool is I crave salads and stuff instead of junk food….which is good since I am a person that eats when bored, depressed or mad!
Here’s where the extra help comes in: I take tablets three times a day that is custom planned for my body and diet plan. Everything on this plan is all natural so I don’t have to worry about putting strange dieting chemicals in my body that can have dangerous side effects. Not to mention my free coach that comes with it! I have not only lost 20 pounds in a month and half but also a LOT of inches! And the energy level is outrageous! Even though I hate exercising I have found energy to do hobbies like rollerblading, ice-skating and riding a bike again!
I love sharing this with everyone I know so they can feel as good as I do. If you are serious about losing weight and want me to help, just let me know! Good luck!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You can tone areas of your body but you can't "spot reduce". 500 crunches a day is quite aggressive depending on your overall fitness level. The best way to reduce fat in your body is to reduce your calorie intake and do at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a day. Eliminate sodas and any foods high in sugar or starch, eat lots of fresh vegetables, moderate fruits, whole grains and lower fat proteins to accomplish your calorie reduction. Crunches are one way to tone your abdominals but check out Pilates, you may get better results without having to do as many sets.

Keep this specific meal between 400 and 1000 calories. Serve yourself a smaller sized portion, so if you like returning to college for seconds, you'll just end up eating a normal-size portion.

Add veggies to baked goods. You'll never even taste the zucchini in these brownies or perhaps the sweet potato in these types of cookies.
