No this is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Why would anyone be scared of a smart girl? Maybe a smart blonde because she'll think she's smart and screw up everything.

I think there's no reason for a smart man to be intimidated or scared by a smart woman. However, frequently if guys are insecure in themselves or their own intelligence or abilities, they can be uncomfortable about women they feel are smarter than they are.
