My hair is fine and med. length. It has a slight natural curl to it but I want the curls well defined and "bouncy".

This is how I do my spiral curls. I apply a setting lotion to my hair. I use the plastic, snap on ,magnetic rollers with the smooth barrel. I roll up my hair with the curlers going horizontally. I do the entire head like that. My curls are soft, bouncy and smooth, every day. But I roll up my hair every night to keep the curls looking neat. I only use the setting lotion once a week, then daily I spray my hair with an oil sheen hair spray for shine. Never use a hair spray or a gel. These products will make the curls hard, and dull and dry out.

You can do one of two things which is to curl it by hand using the curling iron the bigger the curling iron the bigger the curls and the more body you will have but if you want them to last longer I will suggest a smaller curling iron or better yet for more quality of the look it is best to wash your hair and set it by using the rod rollers (orange ones) or the spiral rollers (they are a sponge type roller) go to your local beauty supply store and they have them there. Good luck!!!

the best way to do that is to get a curling iron and use a lot of hairspray. or you can get a perm, but you have to be careful about washing it.
