A good God will say no to a request when the outcome is not good. A no answer is a good answer in some circumstances.

god is our heavenly father, and wants the best for us, just like our earthly father does, so yes he is a good god even when he doesn't answer a prayer, as he knows what is in store for us if he does grant the prayer. sometimes i think when he doesn't answer a certain prayer that he is actually saving us from something bad. just as any father would do. trying to protect us from harm. we can plead our case with him, but if our prayer goes unanswered we just have to trust that he knows alot more than we do.

We are his cretures and He knows what best for us.Do you give your little baby a gun or a very sharp knife? Are you still good in that matter? God is a good God no matter what happens to us.Everything works for good for those who love Him.

He is the rule by which we measure goodness.
Is it bad to allow a child to do something which will harm them by not saying no?
Judge by true standards. Parents who love their children (good parents I might add) probably say no to their children atleast once a day.

God isn't a god when he says yes, so I would have to say he is never a god.
