We so badly screwed the pooch over there, that there is no good option or chance of winning, what ever winning means or meant at the time. Good luck with that final offensive.

You are right, they did. Now they are complaining since they along with the media have nearly convinced everyone that the war is wrong, just to try and get a Democrat President. This is exactly what happened and some do not understand that Bush is NOT the only person making all the decisions, hundreds do, including the Democrats. Bush is bashed and Democrats point their finger at others to cover up the fact that they made the same decisions too.

Because it's two years out from the next election, and they want something to complain about so they can crow about how good they are and what they would do differently.
EXCEPT.......so far, not ONE SINGLE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE has come out with a plan about how they'd end the Iraq war. All they do is say how wrong Bush is, but they have said NOTHING about how they'd end it.
And the ones saying it NOW are the same ones who voted FOR it THEN.
Go figure.

The 4th ID was sitting on a ship because Turkey would not allow them entry to invade Iraq from the north. So the stupid administration went ahead and invaded Iraq anyways even though it meant doing so with only half the forces planned for.

Because at the beggining of the war they were that dumb that they really believed that Saddam had WMD's. Now they realise he never, therefore we should never have gone there in the first place.
